We see there are some strong themes which could allow some major changes, but to manage this process, it is necessary to go back to being owners of the infrastructures, of the data, and of all that is necessary in order not to be bound to the laws of the market, a serious problem to the implementation of the true change.

ALFASSA is seeking to collaborate with associations, individual airports, other service providers, engineering firms, manufacturers and member airlines for to help the industry in the choices, and to shape for the airports we need in the future.

​

With their participation, we can develop industry level solutions and options for future direction on airport investment. The primary objective is to review and verify key themes, determine R&D standardization or regulatory development needs and then to roll-out work streams to make it happen. That means working with key airports on implementation of themes to demonstrate the way forward.

Conducting a comprehensive strategic planning exercise can anticipate growth trends and their impact on route strategy, and take into account regional assets such as airport real estate, local businesses and institutions.

A modern airport development program leverages a wide variety of funding sources, procurement strategies and contracting plans to construct a myriad of assets such as terminals, runways, air-side services, road and bridge networks, public transportation connections.
